Chemical peels

Chemical peels work by professionally applying a skin specific acid solution to the skin. The peel will be chosen based on your skin needs and concerns following a consultation to give you the best results. The peel solution lowers the pH of the skin and loosens the bond between the upper layer of the skin and the dead skin cells on the surface. This leads to desquamation of the dead cells which promotes the stimulation and regulation of new cell growth. Resulting in improved texture and brighter skin tone, increase in collagen production, reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improved appearance of pigmentation and a reduction in decongestion and breakouts. 

We choose to use AlumierMD chemical peels and high quality homecare products. While AlumierMD works with the skin progressively and gradually to avoid the side effects and downtime associated with deeper depth peels, it delivers fantastic results. 

You will undergo an in depth consultation and skin analysis at the start of your treatment to plan the best course for you. Ensuring the correct treatment is selected for you and your skin on the day of your treatment. Please be aware if your Skin Practitioner does not feel the treatment you’ve requested is the one that will suit you best on the day then they will discuss alternative options with you to deliver the best results and treatment for you on the day.
