Time for a change…
As we head into the last part of 2024 it’s time for me to set some changes for Tranquility in 2025.
I’ll be changing the salon opening hours, along with some of the services offered. Many of you will know this has been on the cards for some time. So by posting it here it means I have to put my big girl pants on and make the changes.
I’ve been chasing my tail for a while now and it’s only a matter of time before things slide. If that happens it’s unfair on you lovely lot and no good for me. Running on empty & being unwell isn’t something I’m enjoying. So things need a shuffle up…
By changing how things run it will allow me more time to be the best therapist to you all. While allowing me the time needed to get relevant information, product prescriptions and follow ups to you all. It will also give me some balance with home/work. (If that can ever be completely solved when being self employed)
I also need to be around for Laurie. After all, they aren’t little for long!
I will speak to you all as I see you at your December appointments. We can plan future appointments then. Please keep this in mind and try to be as organised as possible when you come.
As always the diary will be open up 3 months in advance, once these are filled there will be a waiting list opened, should any cancellations occur closer to the time. I know that when planning appointments months in advance that things come up. As always, I will be as accommodating as possible where I can be.

It’s absolutely one of my fav treatments to do for clients! It’s able to treat an amazing range of concerns, acne scarring, pigmentation, “sun spots”, lines & wrinkles, surgical scarring, vitiligo, stretch marks.
On the surface -

💙 Brighter, glowing complexion
💙 Reduction of fine lines & wrinkles.
💙 Clear reduction in depth of “11’s” 😍 these were deep and the main concern to target.

“I have had issues with my skin for the past 15 years since my teenage years, and never believed I would be able to treat my acne unmedicated. After I had my first daughter, my skin gradually worsened until it actually became painful to sleep on. I contacted Tasha and we had an initial consultation via zoom due to lockdown. From then we started a basic skincare regime and began to add in various treatments including peels and LED light therapy to treat my skin. When your skin barrier is impaired it’s as if you are missing some roof tiles from your house. Allowing natural moisture from the skin to seep out but also allowing external factors to penetrate the skin.
Existing clients you’ll already know we discuss this A LOT at consultation and throughout your skin journey. My aim is always to gain optimum skin health by supporting the skin.
We will always work to repair the barrier function first. A compromised skin barrier can lead to a whole host of concerns and issue. Including redness, sensitivity, irregular oil production, breakouts, dehydration, the appearance of premature ageing.
If you feel your skin barrier is impaired remove products from your routine that are harsh and astringent, avoid over exfoliation and reach out to a skin professional.

The neck is already one of the first places to show signs of premature ageing. “Today I was lucky enough to offer treatment to this lovely lady.
Attending for any treatment for the first time can be really daunting, as we never really know what to expect, so let`s review her journey:
This patient had conducted tons of research, had relentlessly ploughed through all of my social media posts and blogs (poor girl) and she booked via my unique Glowday link 👍🏻

So what did we do?
We did a lot of chatting and getting to know one another. She then answered a series of questions as part of her medical consultation. I assessed her full face using examination techniques which led to a discussion about medical grade skin care and top tips on prevention damage and healthy ageing.
After a discussion on treatment options WE formulated a plan and I gained informed written consent for today`s treatment.
Today we started with a lip rejuvenation treatment to build symmetry and prevent her top lip from disappearing when she smiles.
A total of 0.6ml Kysense Define used, no bruising and minimal discomfort.

So what did we do?
We did a lot of chatting and getting to know one another. She then answered a series of questions as part of her medical consultation. I assessed her full face using examination techniques which led to a discussion about medical grade skin care and top tips on prevention damage and healthy ageing.
After a discussion on treatment options WE formulated a plan and I gained informed written consent for today`s treatment.
Today we started with a lip rejuvenation treatment to build symmetry and prevent her top lip from disappearing when she smiles.
A total of 0.6ml Kysense Define used, no bruising and minimal discomfort.
